Leeds United youngster Ollie Pickles is reportedly attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
The 16-year-old has been impressive with his displays for the Whites’ Under-18s in the Premier League and FA Youth Cup this season.
He has made 14 appearances across all competitions this term, with the teenager playing a key role in helping his side to the FA Youth Cup semi final.
According to talkSPORT, Pickles’ performances have caught the attention of Premier League outfits Tottenham and Newcastle.
It is said that his calmness in midfield and range of passing has led to comparisons with former Leeds star Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips was a huge star at Elland Road during his time at the club, but his career has now stalled following a £45 million move to Manchester City in 2022.
The 28-year-old could return to Leeds in the summer but Nedum Onuoha believes he should avoid the move.
Pickles looks to have a very bright future ahead of him but he is unlikely to be used by manager Daniel Farke anytime soon.
He could make his senior debut next season but only if the Whites fail to secure Premier League promotion.
But if the Yorkshire team do go up, then they will likely look to send him on loan to another club for his further development.
